Raddir fullorðinna notenda náms- og starfsráðgjafar á Norðurlöndum

Niðurstöður norrænnar rannsóknar í náms- og starfsráðgjöf meðal fullorðinna hafa verið birtar í skýrslu sem ber heitið Voice of users: Promoting quality of guidance for adults in the Nordic countries. Markmiðið með rannsókninni er m.a. að kanna að hvaða marki notendurnir eru virkir þátttakendur í þróun náms- og starfsráðgjafar fyrir fullorðna á Norðurlöndum. Í rannsókninni er einnig leitað svara við því hvaða áhrif ráðgjöfin hefur á þá sem notfæra sér hana.

ELGPN

Objectives, functions and working arrangements

The European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network (ELGPN) promotes co-operation in the development of policies and systems for lifelong guidance provision at national level through European co-operation of 27 countries. This includes policy sharing, and promotion and support for development of the broader EU policy framework for lifelong guidance.

The network will identify lifelong guidance policy issues for which there are gaps in policy development and implementation at national level and which merit collaborative action at EU level (such as peer-learning clusters, research, and other co-operation activities). Each theme can be a basis of a thematic cluster work packages.

The work programme will be defined by the network, taking into account participating countries' priorities, relevant Council Resolutions and other EU policy documents.

The ELGPN 2009-2010 work programme includes the following thematic activities:

Work Packages:
  • WP1: Career management skills.
  • WP2: Access, including APEL (Accredited prior experiential learning) and also use of ICT (information and communication technology) in guidance.
  • WP3: Co-operation and co-ordination mechanisms in guidance policy and systems   development.
  • WP4: Quality assurance/Evidence-base for policy and systems development.

Widening access WP2

Iceland is the lead participant country with France in this thematic activity. The aim of this group is to explore ways in which to improve equality of access to career guidance for all sections of the population, including the scope for clarifying citizens´ rights to career guidance, linked to the social contract between the state and the citizen, and the interface between lifelong guidance and the models in ELGPN member countries.

The Thematic Action aims to support the recommendation of the European Council (2004) that, as appropriate and given local circumstances, all European citizens should have access to high-quality guidance services at all life stages, with particular attention being paid to individuals and groups at risk. The member countries should examine how this recommendation is being addressed nationally.
